Our "Learn to Play Hockey & Learn to Skate" class offers an exciting opportunity for people of all ages to discover the joy of roller hockey. Taught by experienced coaches, this class is designed for beginners who are eager to learn the ropes of the sport. Whether you've never played hockey before or want to improve your skills, we'll teach you the basics of skating, passing, shooting, and game strategy in a welcoming and supportive environment. What is the cost of the Youth Learn to Play & Learn to Skate Program?
$160 for a 8-week session or $20 per week. We recognize how expensive hockey can be and would like everyone to have the opportunity to experience this beautiful sport.
At what age can my child begin skating and playing Roller Hockey?
Ages 4+, we're planning to provide classes for all age groups.
What equipment do you need for the Learn to Play programs?
Full gear is required. Helmet, elbow pads, stick, shin guards, gloves, and skates.
What happens after Learn To Play?
After Learn to Play, we'll make a recommendation for our players depending on their age and skill level. Every player will eventually have the opportunity to join a team with the Heatwave Arena Youth League.
